Lunch and Learn: interactive networking

"How to meet your Business Romeo or Juliette and Work Happily Ever After,” is a lunch and learn seminar being offered by the Northfield Enterprise Center and Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce. It will be a fun, interactive time learning about how dating and networking share some of the same strategies, and how you can make the most of your networking opportunities. Key points will be “How to Get Noticed by Mr. or Miss Wonderful,” “How to Not Say Something Useless,” and, “How to Get to the Proverbial Business Altar.”  During the lunch part of the program, a presentation on the above topics will be given by Mary Schmelzer, Executive Director of the Chamber, with time following for attendees to practice their dating networking skills. Attendees are welcome to bring business cards or brochures for the interactive portion.
